But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, And they shall have no way to flee, And their hope shall be the giving up of the ghost.


This also shall be my salvation; For a godless man shall not come before him.


For the company of the godless shall be barren, And fire shall consume the tents of bribery.


He shall be rooted out of his tent wherein he trusteth; And he shall be brought to the king of terrors.


That the triumphing of the wicked is short, And the joy of the godless but for a moment?


But they that are godless in heart lay up anger: They cry not for help when he bindeth them.


Whilst it is yet in its greenness, and not cut down, It withereth before any other herb.


The wicked are not so; But are like the chaff which the wind driveth away


The wicked, in the pride of his countenance, saith, He will not require it. All his thoughts are, There is no God.


The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; He shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: The desire of the wicked shall perish.


Now consider this, ye that forget God, Lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver:


The wicked shall return to Sheol, Even all the nations that forget God.


The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: But the expectation of the wicked shall perish.


When a wicked man dieth his expectation shall perish: And the hope of iniquity perisheth.


The wicked are overthrown, and are not: But the house of the righteous shall stand.


The sinners in Zion are afraid; trembling hath surprised the godless ones. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?


and hast forgotten the LORD thy Maker, that stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and fearest continually all the day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he maketh ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?


And I said, My strength is perished, and mine expectation from the LORD.


and shall cut him asunder, and appoint his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be the weeping and gnashing of teeth.


then beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.


Beware lest thou forget the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgements, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:


then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage;


And it shall be, if thou shalt forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.
