And Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare children.


Now when Job's three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: And they made an appointment together to come to bemoan him and to comfort him.


Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee; And thou shalt pay thy vows.


He shall deliver even him that is not innocent: Yea, he shall be delivered through the cleanness of thine hands.


And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: And the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.


Now therefore, take unto you seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you; for him will I accept, that I deal not with you after your folly; for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.


Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God hath already accepted thy works.


And the sons of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.


though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord GOD


Every one therefore which heareth these words of mine, and doeth them, shall be likened unto a wise man, which built his house upon the rock:


His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.


Forthwith therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now therefore we are all here present in the sight of God, to hear all things that have been commanded thee of the Lord.


but rise, and enter into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.


By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed to go out unto a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
