therefore, behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam every man child, him that is shut up and him that is left at large in Israel, and will utterly sweep away the house of Jeroboam, as a man sweepeth away dung, till it be all gone.


and the carcase of Jezebel shall be as dung upon the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel; so that they shall not say, This is Jezebel.


But man dieth, and wasteth away: Yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?


If a man die, shall he live again? All the days of my warfare would I wait, Till my release should come.


Thou prevailest for ever against him, and he passeth; Thou changest his countenance, and sendest him away.


For ye say, Where is the house of the prince? And where is the tent wherein the wicked dwelt?


He lieth down rich, but he shall not be gathered; He openeth his eyes, and he is not.


Betwixt morning and evening they are destroyed: They perish for ever without any regarding it


He shall return no more to his house, Neither shall his place know him any more.


If he be destroyed from his place, Then it shall deny him, saying, I have not seen thee.


The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; He shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: The desire of the wicked shall perish.


Mine enemies speak evil against me, saying, When shall he die, and his name perish?


Which perished at En-dor; They became as dung for the earth.


Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contend with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.


and they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for dung upon the face of the earth.


Though thou mount on high as the eagle, and though thy nest be set among the stars, I will bring thee down from thence, saith the LORD.
