3 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job? for there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and art upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil: And he still holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the LORD: But he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him.


The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: But the prayer of the upright is his delight.


The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: He that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.


Jesus answered, Neither did this man sin, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.


Not that I have already obtained, or am already made perfect: but I press on, if so be that I may apprehend that for which also I was apprehended by Christ Jesus.


Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he hath been approved, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to them that love him.


that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold that perisheth though it is proved by fire, might be found unto praise and glory and honour at the revelation of Jesus Christ:


And the God of all grace, who called you unto his eternal glory in Christ, after that ye have suffered a little while, shall himself perfect, stablish, strengthen you.
