Is it good unto thee that thou shouldest oppress, That thou shouldest despise the work of thine hands, And shine upon the counsel of the wicked?


Know ye that the LORD he is God: It is he that hath made us, and we are his; We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.


Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: Give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.


The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: Thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever; Forsake not the works of thine own hands.


O God, why hast thou cast us off for ever? Why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?


O come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker:

Ye turn things upside down! Shall the potter be counted as clay; that the thing made should say of him that made it, He made me not; or the thing framed say of him that framed it, He hath no understanding?


I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake; and I will not remember thy sins.


every one that is called by my name, and whom I have created for my glory; I have formed him; yea, I have made him.


Remember these things, O Jacob; and Israel, for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.


Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb: I am the LORD, that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth; who is with me?


Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: Ask me of the things that are to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands, command ye me.


Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! a potsherd among the potsherds of the earth! shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?


For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.


Thy people also shall be all righteous, they shall inherit the land for ever; the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.


For thou art our father, though Abraham knoweth us not, and Israel doth not acknowledge us: thou, O LORD, art our father; our redeemer from everlasting is thy name.


For he said, Surely, they are my people, children that will not deal falsely: so he was their saviour.


For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.


They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by rivers of waters, in a straight way wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.


Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass that, in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.


Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, profaning the covenant of our fathers?


Ye do the works of your father. They said unto him, We were not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.


For ye are all sons of God, through faith, in Christ Jesus.


And if ye are Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, heirs according to promise.


For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God afore prepared that we should walk in them.


Do ye thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? Is not he thy father that hath bought thee? He hath made thee, and established thee.


Yet they are thy people and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest out by thy great power and by thy stretched out arm.
