Verily my house is not so with God; yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure: for it is all my salvation, and all my desire, although he maketh it not to grow.


Blessed are they that keep judgement, And he that doeth righteousness at all times.


I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, And in his word do I hope.


I was also perfect with him, And I kept myself from mine iniquity.


My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: When shall I come and appear before God?


Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; Being girded about with might:


Whom have I in heaven but thee? And there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.


My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD; My heart and my flesh cry out unto the living God.


And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.


I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if ye find my beloved, That ye tell him, that I am sick of love.


And in that day shall ye say, Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the peoples, make mention that his name is exalted.


Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the east, even the name of the LORD, the God of Israel, in the isles of the sea.


O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things, even counsels of old, in faithfulness and truth.


And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.


O LORD our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us; but by thee only will we make mention of thy name.


And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgement; blessed are all they that wait for him.


O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.


And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their faces to the earth, and lick the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD, and they that wait for me shall not be ashamed.


Attend unto me, O my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall go forth from me, and I will make my judgement to rest for a light of the peoples.


Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgement, and do righteousness: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.


For all the peoples will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.


But as for me, I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.


Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, even statutes and judgements.


These are the commandments and the judgements, which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses unto the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.


And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.


and, being assembled together with them, he charged them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, said he, ye heard from me:


But if we hope for that which we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.


And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patience of Christ.
