And he said, Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.


The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved: He uttered his voice, the earth melted.


Be thou to me a rock of habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: Thou hast given commandment to save me; For thou art my rock and my fortress.


And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all the night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.


I will send him against a profane nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.


Therefore I will make the heavens to tremble, and the earth shall be shaken out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.


This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations.

And men shall go into the caves of the rocks, and into the holes of the earth, from before the terror of the LORD, and from the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake mightily the earth.


Pass through thy land as the Nile, O daughter of Tarshish; there is no girdle about thee any more.


And on great waters the seed of Shihor, the harvest of the Nile, was her revenue; and she was the mart of nations.


For thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.

By reason of the abundance of his horses their dust shall cover thee: thy walls shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, and of the wagons, and of the chariots, when he shall enter into thy gates, as men enter into a city wherein is made a breach.


And they shall destroy the walls of Tyre, and break down her towers: I will also scrape her dust from her, and make her a bare rock.


I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, were comforted in the nether parts of the earth.


And the LORD hath given commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image; I will make thy grave; for thou art vile.


and I will shake all nations, and the desirable things of all nations shall come, and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.


Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holy unto the LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more a Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.


And he taught, and said unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations? but ye have made it a den of robbers.


and to them that sold the doves he said, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house a house of merchandise.
