Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: How much more the wicked and the sinner!


A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: And the doings of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him.


His own iniquities shall take the wicked, And he shall be holden with the cords of his sin.


And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.


Say ye of the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.


the prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?


But the Levites that went far from me, when Israel went astray, which went astray from me after their idols; they shall bear their iniquity.


Because they ministered unto them before their idols, and became a stumblingblock of iniquity unto the house of Israel; therefore have I lifted up mine hand against them, saith the Lord GOD and they shall bear their iniquity.


And the LORD said unto him, Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause the kingdom of the house of Israel to cease.


When it is my desire, I will chastise them; and the peoples shall be gathered against them, when they are bound to their two transgressions.


The LORD hath also a controversy with Judah, and will punish Jacob according to his ways; according to his doings will he recompense him.


In the womb he took his brother by the heel; and in his manhood he had power with God:


And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now have their own doings beset them about; they are before my face.


As for the sacrifices of mine offerings, they sacrifice flesh and eat it; but the LORD accepteth them not: now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins; they shall return to Egypt.


All their wickedness is in Gilgal; for there I hated them: because of the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house: I will love them no more; all their princes are revolters.


They have deeply corrupted themselves, as in the days of Gibeah: he will remember their iniquity, he will visit their sins.


But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not overtake your fathers? and they turned and said, Like as the LORD of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.


Let them alone: they are blind guides. And if the blind guide the blind, both shall fall into a pit.
