and he shall bathe his flesh in water in a holy place, and put on his garments, and come forth, and offer his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people, and make atonement for himself and for the people.


He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches upon his flesh, and shall be girded with the linen girdle, and with the linen mitre shall he be attired: they are the holy garments; and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and put them on.


the soul which toucheth any such shall be unclean until the even, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he bathe his flesh in water.


he shall separate himself from wine and strong drink; he shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat fresh grapes or dried.


and when they come from the marketplace, except they wash themselves, they eat not: and many other things there be, which they have received to hold, washings of cups, and pots, and brasen vessels.


but now that ye have come to know God, or rather to be known of God, how turn ye back again to the weak and beggarly rudiments, whereunto ye desire to be in bondage over again?


unto a dispensation of the fulness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens, and the things upon the earth; in him, I say,


having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; that he might create in himself of the twain one new man, so making peace;


and all the elders of that city, who are nearest unto the slain man, shall wash their hands over the heifer whose neck was broken in the valley:


but it shall be, when evening cometh on, he shall bathe himself in water: and when the sun is down, he shall come within the camp.


Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a feast day or a new moon or a sabbath day:


let us draw near with a true heart in fulness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our body washed with pure water:


Be not carried away by divers and strange teachings: for it is good that the heart be stablished by grace; not by meats, wherein they that occupied themselves were not profited.


For not unto angels did he subject the world to come, whereof we speak.


of the teaching of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgement.


and tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come,


For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.


who hath been made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life:


Now even the first covenant had ordinances of divine service, and its sanctuary, a sanctuary of this world.
