And Rachel said, With mighty wrestlings have I wrestled with my sister, and have prevailed: and she called his name Naphtali.


And the sons of Naphtali; Jahzeel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shillem.


And they spake unto him, saying, If thou be kind to this people, and please them, and speak good words to them, then they will be thy servants forever.


As a loving hind and a pleasant doe, Let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; And be thou ravished always with her love.


I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, By the roes, and by the hinds of the field, That ye stir not up, nor awaken love, until it please.


Yea, the hind also in the field calveth, and forsaketh her young, because there is no grass.


And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, And full with the blessing of the LORD: Possess thou the west and the south.


And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali together to Kedesh; and there went up ten thousand men at his feet: and Deborah went up with him.


Ands she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedesh-naphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the LORD, the God of Israel, commanded, saying, Go and draw unto mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?


Zebulun was a people that jeoparded their lives unto the death, and Naphtali, upon the high places of the field.
