Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any one shall sin unwittingly, in any of the things which the LORD hath commanded not to be done, and shall do any one of them:


And if any one of the common people sin unwittingly, in doing any of the things which the LORD hath commanded not to be done, and be guilty;


Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.


Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.


But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as becometh saints;


But if this thing be true, that the tokens of virginity were not found in the damsel:


then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the harlot in her father's house: so shalt thou put away the evil from the midst of thee.


There shall be no harlot of the daughters of Israel, neither shall there be a sodomite of the sons of Israel.


Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, the which is idolatry;


And withal they learn also to be idle, going about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.


Let marriage be had in honour among all, and let the bed be undefiled: for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.


out of the same mouth cometh forth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.


And it shall be, that he that is taken with the devoted thing shall be burnt with fire, he and all that he hath: because he hath transgressed the covenant of the LORD, and because he hath wrought folly in Israel.


But ye are an elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that ye may shew forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:


And I took my concubine, and cut her in pieces, and sent her throughout all the country of the inheritance of Israel: for they have committed lewdness and folly in Israel.
