And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites, saying,


Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I.


Have this mind in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:


Then said the princes of the Philistines, What do these Hebrews here? And Achish said unto the princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, which hath been with me these days or these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell away unto me unto this day?


And there ran a man of Benjamin out of the army, and came to Shiloh the same day with his clothes rent, and with earth upon his head.
