And the LORD repented of the evil which he said he would do unto his people.


And the LORD spake unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest up out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:


And he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O Lord, let the Lord, I pray thee, go in the midst of us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.


And afterward Moses and Aaron came, and said unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.


and thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it; when ye turn to the right hand and when ye turn to the left.


O LORD, why dost thou make us to err from thy ways, and hardenest our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants' sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.


We are become as they over whom thou never barest rule; as they that were not called by thy name.


Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the nations should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the peoples, Where is their God?


And this is life eternal, that they should know thee the only true God, and him whom thou didst send, even Jesus Christ.


As touching the gospel, they are enemies for your sake: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sake.


that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him;


And I prayed unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD destroy not thy people and thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed through thy greatness, which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand.


Yet they are thy people and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest out by thy great power and by thy stretched out arm.


to walk worthily of the Lord unto all pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;


But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and for ever. Amen.
