Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the veil, and do with his blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy-seat, and before the mercy-seat:


and the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the veil, before the mercy-seat which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy-seat.


when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall go in, and his sons, and they shall take down the veil of the screen, and cover the ark of the testimony with it:


And behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake; and the rocks were rent;


And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.


the sun's light failing: and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.


For he is our peace, who made both one, and brake down the middle wall of partition,
