And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, so that thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.


And I will come near to you to judgement; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers; and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.


But I call God for a witness upon my soul, that to spare you I forbare to come unto Corinth.


Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God; him shalt thou serve; and to him shalt thou cleave, and by his name shalt thou swear.

This we will do to them, and let them live; lest wrath be upon us, because of the oath which we sware unto them.
