I have surely built thee an house of habitation, a place for thee to dwell in for ever.


Judah became his sanctuary, Israel his dominion.


Yet I have set my king Upon my holy hill of Zion.


Thou didst drive out the nations with thy hand, and plantedst them in; Thou didst afflict the peoples, and didst spread them abroad.


Why look ye askance, ye high mountains, At the mountain which God hath desired for his abode? Yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever

Yet I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then art thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto me?


Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Yet again shall they use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity: The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, O mountain of holiness.


Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.


Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them: it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.


And the nations shall know that I am the LORD that sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.


They shall call the peoples unto the mountain; There shall they offer sacrifices of righteousness: For they shall suck the abundance of the seas, And the hidden treasures of the sand.


Howbeit, if the land of your possession be unclean, then pass ye over unto the land of the possession of the LORD, wherein the LORD'S tabernacle dwelleth, and take possession among us: but rebel not against the LORD, nor rebel against us, in building you an altar besides the altar of the LORD our God.
