The captive exile shall speedily be loosed; and he shall not die and go down into the pit, neither shall his bread fail.


So they drew up Jeremiah with the cords, and took him up out of the dungeon: and Jeremiah remained in the court of the guard.


Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchijah the king's son, that was in the court of the guard: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire: and Jeremiah sank in the mire.


Before him went the pestilence, and fiery bolts went forth at his feet.


As for thee also, because of the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.


for all the firstborn are mine; on the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast: mine they shall be; I am the LORD.


while the Egyptians were burying all their firstborn, which the LORD had smitten among them: upon their gods also the LORD executed judgements.


For all the firstborn among the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast: on the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.


By faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of the blood, that the destroyer of the firstborn should not touch them.
