Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:


I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God hath done it, that men should fear before him.


And which of you by being anxious can add one cubit unto his stature?


Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?


When he giveth quietness, who then can condemn? And when he hideth his face, who then can behold him? Whether it be done unto a nation, or unto a man, alike:


And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, That it is manifold in effectual working! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth


And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?


I turned about, and my heart was set to know and to search out, and to seek wisdom and the reason of things, and to know that wickedness is folly, and that foolishness is madness:


Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.
