I will set no base thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave unto me.


For the spoiling of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, Now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety at whom they puff.


For he that maketh inquisition for blood remembereth them: He forgetteth not the cry of the poor.


Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.

He that hath an evil eye hasteth after riches, And knoweth not that want shall come upon him.


Keep thy heart with all diligence; For out of it are the issues of life.


I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.


At the end of seven years ye shall let go every man his brother that is an Hebrew, which hath been sold unto thee, and hath served thee six years, thou shalt let him go free from thee: but your fathers hearkened not unto me, neither inclined their ear.


For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, railings:


Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? or is thine eye evil, because I am good?


At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release.


in his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the LORD, and it be sin unto thee.


And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the set time of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles,


To him therefore that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.


Or think ye that the scripture speaketh in vain? Doth the spirit which he made to dwell in us long unto envying?


Behold, the hire of the labourers who mowed your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth out: and the cries of them that reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth.


Murmur not, brethren, one against another, that ye be not judged: behold, the judge standeth before the doors.
