Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch of the temple, and of the houses thereof, and of the treasuries thereof, and of the upper rooms thereof, and of the inner chambers thereof, and of the place of the mercy-seat:


All this, said David, have I been made to understand in writing from the hand of the LORD, even all the works of this pattern.


And the king called for Jehoiada the chief, and said unto him, Why hast thou not required of the Levites to bring in out of Judah and out of Jerusalem the tax of Moses the servant of the LORD, and of the congregation of Israel, for the tent of the testimony?


And see that thou make them after their pattern, which hath been shewed thee in the mount.


And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which hath been shewed thee in the mount.


Hollow with planks shalt thou make it: as it hath been shewed thee in the mount, so shall they make it.


This is the sum of the things for the tabernacle, even the tabernacle of the testimony, as they were counted, according to the commandment of Moses, for the service of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar, the son of Aaron the priest.


And it came to pass in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, that the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle of the testimony.
