Then Festus, when he had conferred with the council, answered, Thou hast appealed unto Caesar: unto Caesar shalt thou go.


But when Paul had appealed to be kept for the decision of the emperor, I commanded him to be kept till I should send him to Caesar.


But I found that he had committed nothing worthy of death: and as he himself appealed to the emperor I determined to send him.


And Agrippa said unto Festus, This man might have been set at liberty, if he had not appealed unto Caesar.


But when the Jews spake against it, I was constrained to appeal unto Caesar; not that I had aught to accuse my nation of.


who both killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and drave out us, and please not God, and are contrary to all men;


The LORD, the God of gods, the LORD, the God of gods, he knoweth, and Israel he shall know; if it be in rebellion, or if in trespass against the LORD, (save thou us not this day,)


And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul: there is nothing better for me than that I should escape into the land of the Philistines; and Saul shall despair of me, to seek me any more in all the borders of Israel: so shall I escape out of his hand.
