Therefore I am full of the fury of the LORD; I am weary with holding in: pour it out upon the children in the street, and upon the assembly of young men together: for even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the aged with him that is full of days.


And go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord GOD whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.


But I truly am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgement, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.


But when they deliver you up, be not anxious how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that hour what ye shall speak.


And these signs shall follow them that believe: in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,


Can any man forbid the water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?


And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, even as on us at the beginning.


for he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.


And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Ghost.


But Saul, who is also called Paul, filled with the Holy Ghost, fastened his eyes on him,


And God, which knoweth the heart, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;


And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.


Cretans and Arabians, we do hear them speaking in our tongues the mighty works of God.

And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:


And Stephen, full of grace and power, wrought great wonders and signs among the people.


But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,


Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.


And Ananias departed, and entered into the house; and laying his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, who appeared unto thee in the way which thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mayest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.


Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Ghost.


and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits: to another divers kinds of tongues; and to another the interpretation of tongues:


If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.


Love never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall be done away; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall be done away.


I thank God, I speak with tongues more than you all:


Now I would have you all speak with tongues, but rather that ye should prophesy: and greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.


and to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that ye may be filled unto all the fulness of God.


And be not drunken with wine, wherein is riot, but be filled with the Spirit;


with all prayer and supplication praying at all seasons in the Spirit, and watching thereunto in all perseverance and supplication for all the saints,


To whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto you, did they minister these things, which now have been announced unto you through them that preached the gospel unto you by the Holy Ghost sent forth from heaven; which things angels desire to look into.


For no prophecy ever came by the will of man: but men spake from God, being moved by the Holy Ghost.


And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.


And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a band of prophets met him; and the spirit of God came mightily upon him, and he prophesied among them.
