For ye, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God which are in Judaea in Christ Jesus: for ye also suffered the same things of your own countrymen, even as they did of the Jews;


To which end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire of goodness and every work of faith, with power;


if we endure, we shall also reign with him: if we shall deny him, he also will deny us:


Who shall not fear, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy; for all the nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy righteous acts have been made manifest.


And I heard the altar saying, Yea, O Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgements.


for true and righteous are his judgements; for he hath judged the great harlot, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and he hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.


But thou hast a few names in Sardis which did not defile their garments: and they shall walk with me in white; for they are worthy.
