And I am very sore displeased with the nations that are at ease: for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction.


Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.


And he did obeisance, and said, What is thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am?


O Israel, hope in the LORD; For with the LORD there is mercy, And with him is plenteous redemption


But I will deliver thee in that day, saith the LORD: and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art afraid.


It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.


To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses; for we have rebelled against him;


He will turn again and have compassion upon us; he will tread our iniquities under foot: and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
