Behold, I will put a spirit in him, and he shall hear a rumour, and shall return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.


Who can strip off his outer garment? Who shall come within his double bridle?


Canst thou put a rope into his nose? Or pierce his jaw through with a hook?


Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: Whose trappings must be bit and bridle to hold them in, Else they will not come near unto thee.


The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved: He uttered his voice, the earth melted.


Which stilleth the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, And the tumult of the peoples.


Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, Lift up thyself against the rage of mine adversaries: And awake for me; thou hast commanded judgement.


Forget not the voice of thine adversaries: The tumult of those that rise up against thee ascendeth continually.


Thine adversaries have roared in the midst of thine assembly; They have set up their ensigns for signs.


For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: And they that hate thee have lifted up the head.

And I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales; and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, with all the fish of thy rivers which stick unto thy scales.


And ye have magnified yourselves against me with your mouth, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard it.


and I will turn thee about, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armour, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them handling swords:


The Lord GODhath sworn by his holiness, that, lo, the days shall come upon you, that they shall take you away with hooks, and your residue with fish hooks.


But they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.


If the world hateth you, ye know that it hath hated me before it hated you.


Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
