For through the anger of the LORD did it come to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence: and Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.


He hath remembered his covenant for ever, The word which he commanded to a thousand generations;


The covenant which he made with Abraham, And his oath unto Isaac;


And he remembered for them his covenant, And repented according to the multitude of his mercies.


Cast me not away from thy presence; And take not thy holy spirit from me.


But he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not: Yea, many a time turned he his anger away, And did not stir up all his wrath.


But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion and gracious, Slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy and truth.


And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.


And it shall come to pass, after that I have plucked them up, I will return and have compassion on them; and I will bring them again, every man to his heritage, and every man to his land,


For though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.


then will I remember my covenant with Jacob; and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.


Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels:


For the LORD shall judge his people, And repent himself for his servants; When he seeth that their power is gone, And there is none remaining, shut up or left at large.


who shall suffer punishment, even eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might,


And they put away the strange gods from among them, and served the LORD: and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.
