Yet the LORD testified unto Israel, and unto Judah, by the hand of every prophet, and of every seer, saying, Turn ye from your evil ways, and keep my commandments and my statutes, according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by the hand of my servants the prophets.


And the LORD, the God of their fathers, sent to them by his messengers, rising up early and sending; because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place:


and testifiedst against them, that thou mightest bring them again unto thy law: yet they dealt proudly, and hearkened not unto thy commandments, but sinned against thy judgements, (which if a man do, he shall live in them,) and withdrew the shoulder, and hardened their neck, and would not hear.


Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: Thereby good shall come unto thee.


If there be with him an angel, An interpreter, one among a thousand, To shew unto man what is right for him;


Behold, I am toward God even as thou art: I also am formed out of the clay.


A wicked messenger falleth into evil: But a faithful ambassador is health.


Or else let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; yea, let him make peace with me.


But Jeremiah said, They shall not deliver thee. Obey, I beseech thee, the voice of the LORD, in that which I speak unto thee: so it shall be well with thee, and thy soul shall live.


Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate.


For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.


He that heareth you heareth me; and he that rejecteth you rejecteth me; and he that rejecteth me rejecteth him that sent me.


And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and constrain them to come in, that my house may be filled.


Jesus therefore said to them again, Peace be unto you: as the Father hath sent me, even so send I you.


For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, shall we be saved by his life;


Wherefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.


who also made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.


Knowing therefore the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest unto God; and I hope that we are made manifest also in your consciences.


And working together with him we entreat also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain


for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.


and through him to reconcile all things unto himself, having made peace through the blood of his cross; through him, I say, whether things upon the earth, or things in the heavens.


Therefore he that rejecteth, rejecteth not man, but God, who giveth his Holy Spirit unto you.
