And Micaiah said, As the LORD liveth, what the LORD saith unto me, that will I speak.


And the messenger that went to call Micaiah spake to him, saying, Behold, the words of the prophets declare good to the king with one mouth: let thy word, therefore, I pray thee, be like one of theirs, and speak thou good.


And when he was come to the king, the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go to Ramoth-gilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And he said, Go ye up, and prosper; and they shall be delivered into your hand.


The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the straw to the wheat? saith the LORD.


Then Jeremiah the prophet said unto them, I have heard you; behold, I will pray unto the LORD your God according to your words; and it shall come to pass that whatsoever thing the LORD shall answer you, I will declare it unto you; I will keep nothing back from you.


And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.


And the angel of the LORD said unto Balaam, Go with the men: but only the word that I shall speak unto thee, that thou shalt speak. So Balaam went with the princes of Balak.


And he answered and said, Must I not take heed to speak that which the LORD putteth in my mouth?


But Balaam answered and said unto Balak, Told not I thee, saying, All that the LORD speaketh, that I must do?


If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the word of the LORD, to do either good or bad of mine own mind; what the LORD speaketh, that will I speak?


For I shrank not from declaring unto you the whole counsel of God.


For I received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, how that the Lord Jesus in the night in which he was betrayed took bread;


For we are not as the many, corrupting the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God, speak we in Christ.


For am I now persuading men, or God? or am I seeking to please men? if I were still pleasing men, I should not be a servant of Christ.


but even as we have been approved of God to be intrusted with the gospel, so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God which proveth our hearts.
