And he came also to Derbe and to Lystra: and behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timothy, the son of a Jewess which believed; but his father was a Greek.


So the churches were strengthened in the faith, and increased in number daily.


But when Silas and Timothy came down from Macedonia, Paul was constrained by the word, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Christ.


Timothy my fellow-worker saluteth you; and Lucius and Jason and Sosipater, my kinsmen.

to the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.


For this cause I also, when I could no longer forbear, sent that I might know your faith, lest by any means the tempter had tempted you, and our labour should be in vain.


comfort your hearts and stablish them in every good work and word.
