inasmuch as he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.


And now, Lord, look upon their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants to speak thy word with all boldness,


And they stoned Stephen, calling upon the Lord, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.


But Saul, yet breathing threatening and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,


but after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up for thyself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgement of God;


And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, and forbear threatening: knowing that both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no respect of persons with him.


which is a manifest token of the righteous judgement of God; to the end that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:


For the which cause I suffer also these things: yet I am not ashamed; for I know him whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to guard that which I have committed unto him against that day.


henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give to me at that day: and not only to me, but also to all them that have loved his appearing.


For consider him that hath endured such gainsaying of sinners against themselves, that ye wax not weary, fainting in your souls.


not rendering evil for evil, or reviling for reviling; but contrariwise blessing; for hereunto were ye called, that ye should inherit a blessing.


Wherefore let them also that suffer according to the will of God commit their souls in well-doing unto a faithful Creator.


And I saw the heaven opened; and behold, a white horse, and he that sat thereon, called Faithful and True; and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
