The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.


And the LORD shall return his blood upon his own head, because he fell upon two men more righteous and better than he, and slew them with the sword, and my father David knew it not, to wit, Abner the son of Ner, captain of the host of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, captain of the host of Judah.


So shall their blood return upon the head of Joab, and upon the head of his seed for ever: but unto David, and unto his seed, and unto his house, and unto his throne, shall there be peace for ever from the LORD.


but when the matter came before the king, he commanded by letters that his wicked device, which he had devised against the Jews, should return upon his own head; and that he and his sons should he hanged on the gallows.


With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; With the perfect man thou wilt shew thyself perfect;


Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish thou the righteous: For the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.


Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.

Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, And be filled with their own devices.


He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the righteous, Both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD.


In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.


hath given forth upon usury, and hath taken increase: shall he then live? he shall not live: he hath done all these abominations: he shall surely die; his blood shall be upon him.


The soul that sinneth, it shall die: the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son; the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.


Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD Return ye, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.


And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will bring their way upon their head.


And when he hath made her drink the water, then it shall come to pass, if she be defiled, and have committed a trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall fall away: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.


for not the hearers of a law are just before God, but the doers of a law shall be justified:


And I was alive apart from the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died;


If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgement, and the judges judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked;


If one man sin against another, God shall judge him: but if a man sin against the LORD, who shall entreat for him? Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because the LORD would slay them.
