And he carved all the walls of the house round about with carved figures of cherubim and palm trees and open flowers, within and without.


And for the entering of the oracle he made doors of olive wood: the lintel and door posts were a fifth part of the wall.


So also made he for the entering of the temple door posts of olive wood, out of a fourth part of the wall;


and the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the firepans, of pure gold: and as for the entry of the house, the inner doors thereof for the most holy place, and the doors of the house, to wit, of the temple, were of gold.


And there were closed windows to the lodges, and to their posts within the gate round about, and likewise to the arches: and windows were round about inward: and upon each post were palm trees.


And it was made with cherubim and palm trees; and a palm tree was between cherub and cherub, and every cherub had two faces;
