Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler; And whosoever erreth thereby is not wise.


Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:


Behold, they may gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall because of thee.


Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the understanding.


Therefore now shall they go captive with the first that go captive, and the revelry of them that stretched themselves shall pass away.
