And David dwelt in the strong hold, and called it the city of David. And David built round about from Millo and inward.

For David, after he had in his own generation served the counsel of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:


Brethren, I may say unto you freely of the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us unto this day.
