and he said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his eyes, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases upon thee, which I have put upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.


You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will visit upon you all your iniquities.


And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed not in me, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.


Aaron shall be gathered unto his people: for he shall not enter into the land which I have given unto the children of Israel, because ye rebelled against my word at the waters of Meribah.


For David, after he had in his own generation served the counsel of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:


And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.


For he that eateth and drinketh, eateth and drinketh judgement unto himself, if he discern not the body.


But if we discerned ourselves, we should not be judged.


But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.


Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,


For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also that are fallen asleep in Jesus will God bring with him.


As many as I love, I reprove and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
