For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or even acknowledge, and I hope ye will acknowledge unto the end:


as also ye did acknowledge us in part, that we are your glorying, even as ye also are ours, in the day of our Lord Jesus.


Now he that stablisheth us with you in Christ, and anointed us, is God;


that he might present the church to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.


so that ye may approve the things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and void of offence unto the day of Christ;


being confident of this very thing, that he which began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ:


in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and unreproveable before him:


rooted and builded up in him, and stablished in your faith, even as ye were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.


to the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.


For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.


to the end that ye be not quickly shaken from your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by epistle as from us, as that the day of the Lord is now present;


But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and guard you from the evil one.


For the which cause I suffer also these things: yet I am not ashamed; for I know him whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to guard that which I have committed unto him against that day.


(the Lord grant unto him to find mercy of the Lord in that day); and in how many things he ministered at Ephesus, thou knowest very well.


And the God of all grace, who called you unto his eternal glory in Christ, after that ye have suffered a little while, shall himself perfect, stablish, strengthen you.


But the day of the Lord will come as a thief; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are therein shall be burned up.


Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for these things, give diligence that ye may be found in peace, without spot and blameless in his sight.
