that saith to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up thy rivers:


Wherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? Behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for thirst.


Art thou not it which dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep; that made the depths of the sea a way for the redeemed to pass over?


For I am the LORD thy God, which stirreth up the sea, that the waves thereof roar: the LORD of hosts is his name.


that caused his glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moses? that divided the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name?


that led them through the depths, as an horse in the wilderness, that they stumbled not?


Was the LORD displeased against the rivers? Was thine anger against the rivers, Or thy wrath against the sea, That thou didst ride upon thine horses, Upon thy chariots of salvation?


This man led them forth, having wrought wonders and signs in Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the wilderness forty years.


For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red Sea before you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were beyond Jordan, unto Sihon and to Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.


And the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of Jordan, and all Israel passed over on dry ground, until all the nation were passed clean over Jordan.


For the LORD your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as the LORD your God did to the Red Sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were passed over:
