“But if he cannot afford a lamb, then he shall bring, as his guilt offering to the Lord for the sin which he has committed, two turtledoves or two young pigeons, one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering.


Then he brought the bull of the sin offering; and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bull of the sin offering.


And Moses killed it, and took the blood, and with his finger put it on the horns of the altar round about, and purified the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar, and consecrated it, to make atonement for it.


Then he presented the ram of the burnt offering; and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.


As has been done today, the Lord has commanded to be done to make atonement for you.


Then Moses said to Aaron, “Draw near to the altar, and offer your sin offering and your burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself and for the people; and bring the offering of the people, and make atonement for them; as the Lord has commanded.”


and he shall offer his gift to the Lord, one male lamb a year old without blemish for a burnt offering, and one ewe lamb a year old without blemish as a sin offering, and one ram without blemish as a peace offering,


And the priest shall present them before the Lord and offer his sin offering and his burnt offering,


And you shall cause the Levites to attend Aaron and his sons, and shall offer them as a wave offering to the Lord.


Then let them take a young bull and its cereal offering of fine flour mixed with oil, and you shall take another young bull for a sin offering.


Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.
