O God, why dost thou cast us off for ever? Why does thy anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?


How long, O Lord? Wilt thou be angry for ever? Will thy jealous wrath burn like fire?


Lord, thou wast favorable to thy land; thou didst restore the fortunes of Jacob.


Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? Wilt thou prolong thy anger to all generations?


But now thou hast cast off and rejected, thou art full of wrath against thy anointed.


How long, O Lord? Wilt thou hide thyself for ever? How long will thy wrath burn like fire?
