And the mountains will melt under him and the valleys will be cleft, like wax before the fire, like waters poured down a steep place.


But the wicked perish; the enemies of the Lord are like the glory of the pastures, they vanish—like smoke they vanish away.


Therefore they shall be like the morning mist or like the dew that goes early away, like the chaff that swirls from the threshing floor or like smoke from a window.


For wickedness burns like a fire, it consumes briers and thorns; it kindles the thickets of the forest, and they roll upward in a column of smoke.
