which the skies pour down, and drop upon man abundantly.


he gives rain upon the earth and sends waters upon the fields;


who redeems your life from the Pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,


From thy lofty abode thou waterest the mountains; the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy work.


who hast laid the beams of thy chambers on the waters, who makest the clouds thy chariot, who ridest on the wings of the wind,


All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.


They feast on the abundance of thy house, and thou givest them drink from the river of thy delights.


For thou dost bless the righteous, O Lord; thou dost cover him with favor as with a shield.


thy flock found a dwelling in it; in thy goodness, O God, thou didst provide for the needy.


The simple acquire folly, but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.


Who knows whether he will not turn and repent, and leave a blessing behind him, a cereal offering and a drink offering for the Lord, your God?


Is the seed yet in the barn? Do the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree still yield nothing? From this day on I will bless you.”


Bring the full tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house; and thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you an overflowing blessing.


But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, a wild olive shoot, were grafted in their place to share the richness of the olive tree,


a land which the Lord your God cares for; the eyes of the Lord your God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.
