So Hanun took David's servants, and shaved them, and cut off their garments in the middle, at their hips, and sent them away;


I cry to thee, O Lord; I say, Thou art my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.


Those who render me evil for good are my adversaries because I follow after good.


Do not forsake me, O Lord! O my God, be not far from me!


If a man returns evil for good, evil will not depart from his house.
