so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord.


Then the priests brought the ark of the covenant of the Lord to its place, in the inner sanctuary of the house, in the most holy place, underneath the wings of the cherubim.


Arise, O Lord, and go to thy resting place, thou and the ark of thy might.


In thy strength the king rejoices, O Lord; and in thy help how greatly he exults!


His glory is great through thy help; splendor and majesty thou dost bestow upon him.


The heavens proclaim his righteousness; and all the peoples behold his glory.


Open the gates, that the righteous nation which keeps faith may enter in.


Go through, go through the gates, prepare the way for the people; build up, build up the highway, clear it of stones, lift up an ensign over the peoples.


And you, O tower of the flock, hill of the daughter of Zion, to you shall it come, the former dominion shall come, the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.


and I will shake all nations, so that the treasures of all nations shall come in, and I will fill this house with splendor, says the Lord of hosts.


The latter splendor of this house shall be greater than the former, says the Lord of hosts; and in this place I will give prosperity, says the Lord of hosts.’ ”


“Behold, I send my messenger to prepare the way before me, and the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant in whom you delight, behold, he is coming, says the Lord of hosts.


So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.


None of the rulers of this age understood this; for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.


My brethren, show no partiality as you hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory.


who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers subject to him.


But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
