for not by their own sword did they win the land, nor did their own arm give them victory; but thy right hand, and thy arm, and the light of thy countenance; for thou didst delight in them.


Thou art my King and my God, who ordainest victories for Jacob.


Thou didst bring a vine out of Egypt; thou didst drive out the nations and plant it.


So the people shouted, and the trumpets were blown. As soon as the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people raised a great shout, and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.
