Remember the wonderful works that he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he uttered,


He remembered for their sake his covenant, and relented according to the abundance of his steadfast love.


But I through the abundance of thy steadfast love will enter thy house, I will worship toward thy holy temple in the fear of thee.


Have mercy on me, O God, according to thy steadfast love; according to thy abundant mercy blot out my transgressions.


They forgot what he had done, and the miracles that he had shown them.


They did not keep in mind his power, or the day when he redeemed them from the foe;


“How long, O simple ones, will you love being simple? How long will scoffers delight in their scoffing and fools hate knowledge?


He sees many things, but does not observe them; his ears are open, but he does not hear.


They know not, nor do they discern; for he has shut their eyes, so that they cannot see, and their minds, so that they cannot understand.


I will recount the steadfast love of the Lord, the praises of the Lord, according to all that the Lord has granted us, and the great goodness to the house of Israel which he has granted them according to his mercy, according to the abundance of his steadfast love.


but, though he cause grief, he will have compassion according to the abundance of his steadfast love;


so that they may indeed see but not perceive, and may indeed hear but not understand; lest they should turn again, and be forgiven.”


Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called the uncircumcision by what is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands—


You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God redeemed you; therefore I command you this today.


but to this day the Lord has not given you a mind to understand, or eyes to see, or ears to hear.
