O that my ways may be steadfast in keeping thy statutes!


When I think of thy ways, I turn my feet to thy testimonies;


The steps of a man are from the Lord, and he establishes him in whose way he delights;


He drew me up from the desolate pit, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.


Folly is a joy to him who has no sense, but a man of understanding walks aright.


A wicked man puts on a bold face, but an upright man considers his ways.


Hear, my son, and be wise, and direct your mind in the way.

and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but rather be healed.


And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, establish, and strengthen you.
