Look on my affliction and deliver me, for I do not forget thy law.


I will delight in thy statutes; I will not forget thy word.


I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant, for I do not forget thy commandments.


Give me understanding, that I may keep thy law and observe it with my whole heart.


Though the cords of the wicked ensnare me, I do not forget thy law.


I will never forget thy precepts; for by them thou hast given me life.


With long life I will satisfy him, and show him my salvation.


but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.


Hear, my son, your father's instruction, and reject not your mother's teaching;


A hoary head is a crown of glory; it is gained in a righteous life.


My son, if you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you,


My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways.


lest they drink and forget what has been decreed, and pervert the rights of all the afflicted.


for I give you good precepts: do not forsake my teaching.


Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart.


do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth. Get wisdom; get insight.


Does not wisdom call, Does not understanding raise her voice?


Wisdom has built her house, she has set up her seven pillars.


Rouse yourself, rouse yourself, stand up, O Jerusalem, you who have drunk at the hand of the Lord the cup of his wrath, who have drunk to the dregs the bowl of staggering.


But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it upon their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.


My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.


Take heed to yourselves, lest you forget the covenant of the Lord your God, which he made with you, and make a graven image in the form of anything which the Lord your God has forbidden you.


“Only take heed, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things which your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life; make them known to your children and your children's children—


“ ‘Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God commanded you; that your days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with you, in the land which the Lord your God gives you.


You shall walk in all the way which the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live, and that it may go well with you, and that you may live long in the land which you shall possess.


“All the commandment which I command you this day you shall be careful to do, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the Lord swore to give to your fathers.
