How forceful are honest words! But what does reproof from you reprove?


From the fruit of his words a man is satisfied with good, and the work of a man's hand comes back to him.


Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad.


Without counsel plans go wrong, but with many advisers they succeed.


Righteous lips are the delight of a king, and he loves him who speaks what is right.


Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.


He who gives a right answer kisses the lips.


For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:


The Lord God has given me the tongue of those who are taught, that I may know how to sustain with a word him that is weary. Morning by morning he wakens, he wakens my ear to hear as those who are taught.


The two disciples heard him say this, and they followed Jesus.


And when she heard it, she rose quickly and went to him.


Let no evil talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for edifying, as fits the occasion, that it may impart grace to those who hear.
