For this reason, when I could bear it no longer, I sent that I might know your faith, for fear that somehow the tempter had tempted you and that our labor would be in vain.


Let no one deceive you in any way; for that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of perdition,


Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.


Women received their dead by resurrection. Some were tortured, refusing to accept release, that they might rise again to a better life.


The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection.
