The Lord says to my lord: “Sit at my right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool.”


For this I will extol thee, O Lord, among the nations, and sing praises to thy name.


In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely. And this is the name by which he will be called: ‘The Lord is our righteousness.’


So every one who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven;


for to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.


Nevertheless many even of the authorities believed in him, but for fear of the Pharisees they did not confess it, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:


You call me Teacher and Lord; and you are right, for so I am.


If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.


Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son;


Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.


When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify thy Son that the Son may glorify thee,


Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!”


that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.


His parents said this because they feared the Jews, for the Jews had already agreed that if any one should confess him to be Christ, he was to be put out of the synagogue.


You know the word which he sent to Israel, preaching good news of peace by Jesus Christ (he is Lord of all),


Let all the house of Israel therefore know assuredly that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.”

For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.


and in order that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written, “Therefore I will praise thee among the Gentiles, and sing to thy name”;


Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking by the Spirit of God ever says “Jesus be cursed!” and no one can say “Jesus is Lord” except by the Holy Spirit.


The first man was from the earth, a man of dust; the second man is from heaven.


yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.


Through him you have confidence in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.


Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.


By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit which confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,


For many deceivers have gone out into the world, men who will not acknowledge the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh; such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist.


He who conquers shall be clad thus in white garments, and I will not blot his name out of the book of life; I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels.
